  10. Would like to make but Im at a loss as to why there are 3 pieces -- lining, inner and outer? What do you mean by put zipper in upside down? Please clarify

    1. You put in a separating zipper with the pull tab at the bottom end of the sleep sack. That way the child can' easily reach the tab and unzip themselves. The three layers make the sleep sack extra warm. If you want a summer weight sack, just make 1 layer, without the lining. You'll need to put binding around the neck and arms to finish them off.

    1. If you want to make a sleeping bag for summer it doesn't need inner layer and lining. The tutorial only shows how I made mine.

  18. I would like to make one for my son. He is now 11 months old and I would like to make one from 12 to 24 or even 36 months. Do you know the measurments for that age as well? And would it be possible to make one which grows with the child lets say from 24 to 36 months? Thanks for your reply in advance!

  22. Thanks for making it possible to print the pattern, I was going to adapt a pattern I had from 1970 but was not sure how long to make so I came to do some search and found your very good pattern which I will use son as my daughter is expecting twins. Thanks again

  23. Thanks for the pattern. Will make for a baby present. I had a sleeping bag for my babies around 25 years ago and the zip was on the side which made it easy to get on and off. Might try it with this pattern. Otherwise the pattern is very similar.
