Hallo! Your blog is great! Best regards:)
ReplyDeleteСпасибо большое, за выкройку. thank you)).
ReplyDeletelooking for a pattern for a dolls version of the sleeping bag. A shaped one like this not just straight sides.
ReplyDeleteGracias, está realmente muy bien explicado.
ReplyDeleteWould like to make but Im at a loss as to why there are 3 pieces -- lining, inner and outer? What do you mean by put zipper in upside down? Please clarify
ReplyDeleteYou put in a separating zipper with the pull tab at the bottom end of the sleep sack. That way the child can' easily reach the tab and unzip themselves. The three layers make the sleep sack extra warm. If you want a summer weight sack, just make 1 layer, without the lining. You'll need to put binding around the neck and arms to finish them off.
DeleteThanks, am loving your patterns, much appreciate your generosity. I have two little granddaughters and love sewing for them. Also sharing them to Pinterest (and acknowledging your blog name).
ReplyDeleteit's awesome but i can't open sewing pattern. so sad

ReplyDeleteWhy does it need inner layer and lining?
If you want to make a sleeping bag for summer it doesn't need inner layer and lining. The tutorial only shows how I made mine.
Deletethank you for the response,i love that sleep sack!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi and thanks for the great pattern, before I get started how much fabric would you roughly need? Just trying to work it out before I source fabric. Thanks so much
ReplyDeletegreat! thank you for sharing
ReplyDeleteThanks for your wonderful pattern. Great for my new soon-to-be grandbaby.
ReplyDeleteI would like to make one for my son. He is now 11 months old and I would like to make one from 12 to 24 or even 36 months. Do you know the measurments for that age as well? And would it be possible to make one which grows with the child lets say from 24 to 36 months? Thanks for your reply in advance!

Thank You for sharing your pattern,, I altered it a bit by not using the inner layer, just the outside and lining. worked great. Your awesome!
ReplyDeleteLove your pattern. Thanks for sharing. Just a question. Did you include an allowance on the front for the zipper and if so, how much.
ReplyDeleteAd 2 cm seam allowance at the side seam of the left and right front pieces.
DeleteThanks for making it possible to print the pattern, I was going to adapt a pattern I had from 1970 but was not sure how long to make so I came to do some search and found your very good pattern which I will use son as my daughter is expecting twins. Thanks again
ReplyDeleteThanks for the pattern. Will make for a baby present. I had a sleeping bag for my babies around 25 years ago and the zip was on the side which made it easy to get on and off. Might try it with this pattern. Otherwise the pattern is very similar.
ReplyDeletethanks for the pattern love to try this one for my niece..
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly for the pattern. I am in the process of making one but think I have made a mistake by cutting the inner into two pieces. May just make another inner. I love the pictures as well as the writing. Thank you
