Sewing pattern and tutorial Women's Raglan T-shirt

Materials:
* Jersey - Froy & Dind, London Green (Fabric width: 140 cm)
   - 150 cm (size 04 - 14)  

Instructions:
The sewing pattern is available in my online shop. Sizes range from XS to XXL.

When working with knits, it is important not to stretch or pull the fabric while sewing. Also use a stretch needle and a stretch stitch. In this pattern all seams are sewed with a twin needle.

Step 1: Draw the pattern.
Print the sewing pattern in landscape mode at 100% on A4 paper or US Letter. Draw the pattern with an aqua trickmarker on the back of the fabric.

The pattern is without seam allowance. Add 1 cm (5/8 inch) seam allowance. Add 2 cm (1 inch) seam allowance at the neckline, the bottom of the sleeves and the bottom of the shirt. Draw with the aqua trickmarker a second line 1 cm (1/2 inch) above the neckline. 

Step 2: Cut the fabric.
Cut a front piece, a back piece and and two sleeves out of the fabric.

Step 3: Serge the seams.
Serge the seams.

Step 4: Sew the upper notches of the sleeve closed.
Sew the upper notches of the sleeve closed. Use a single needle with a straight stitch.

Step 5: Sew the sleeves to the front and back piece.
With right sides facing, sew the sleeves to the front and back piece. 


Step 6: Fold seam allowance neckline to the inside.
Fold seam allowance of the neckline to the inside on the first line (about 1 cm - 1/2 inch) from the cut edge) and pin down.

Step 7: Fold seam allowance neckline to the inside.
Fold seam allowance of the neckline to the inside on the second line (about 2 cm - 1 inch) from the cut edge) and pin down.

Step 8: Sew.
Turn the shirt right side out and sew neckline.

Step 9: Sew the sides of the shirt and the sides of the sleeves.
Turn shirt wrong-side out. Pin down the sides of the shirt and the sides of the sleeves. Sew toghether.

Step 10: Fold the seam allowance to the inside.
Fold the seam allowance of the bottom of the shirt and the bottom of the sleeves to the inside and pin down.

Step 11:  Sew the hems in place.
Turn right-side out. Sew the hems in place.
